But the story is sadder. Paris, Moscow et al have forgiven approximately $30B of Iraqi debt. Now I know what you’re saying, $30B today ain’t nearly as much as $30B a year ago, but it is still a lot. Hey Georgie? Wanna spread the wealth a little? Our consumer debt relief program would be of a smaller scope, and it might help this war-torn nation increase its savings a little? Ithink it’ll play great in Dixie.
